New Science Complex
In support of Towson University’s vision for its new Science Complex, a five-story, 320,000 SF hub designed to foster student-faculty collaboration and sustainability, Marshall Craft led the project’s equipment planning, facilities support, and move coordination efforts.
Working with CannonDesign, our team ensured a seamless transition into this state-of-the-art academic environment by:
Conducting a comprehensive survey and inventory of existing lab equipment
Confirming and coordinating all new equipment installations
Partnering with faculty, staff, and research groups to plan teaching and research laboratories
Managing the relocation of connected science equipment from Smith Hall to the new Science Complex, which now houses 50 teaching labs, 30 research labs, and 50 classrooms
Reviewing design documents related to lab equipment and lab design, including original construction drawings and renovation addenda, to align with the university’s operational goals for this new facility
As the largest academic building on Towson’s campus, the Science Complex reflects the university’s commitment to innovation and discovery. Marshall Craft is proud to have supported this transformative milestone, creating a place where future generations of scientists can explore, experiment, and thrive.
